All I can say is wow, we went to the Coetzer house on Spring day, we had a good sunny weekend all round, the wooden deck was the place we spent most of the time watching the panoramic views and the bird noises, fire was burning the whole weekend and jacuzzi was fantastic. The kitchen has everything and is fully equipped. They give complimentary coffee and plunging coffee with 2 special vouchers for Gin tasting and discount on wine!
The beds ans bedding is absolutely amazing, So sleep is long and deep! This place should be rated 10 out of 10, we will be back when we can get a booking again as its booked out way in advance. I love love love this place, so pretty and setup for any occasions 💙 thank you to the special lady at the shop, and making us feel very welcome.
Coetzer house is a very special holiday desitnation worth every sent spent.
Like Arnold Swarzenegger says, ill be back. 😂

Most Relaxing Getaway!
First time in years I've slept so late - beds incredibly comfortable, friendly hosts, beautiful setting, and well-equipped cottages. In Winter the fireplaces are amazing and I can only just imagine how wonderful swimming in the river right outside your cottage must be. Kids enjoyed fishing, and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake. Will definitely be back!

Wow. Stunning views and birdlife. House comes with everything you would need and more. Clean and neat. Was very grateful for the stash of fans as it was so so hot. Good fun in the river on the boats and swimming. Braai facilities and fully kitted out kitchen. We'll definitely be back!

• Birding in the Breedekloof

Fabulous spot, kitted out with all you need for a comfortable stay. Location is secluded, with the river perfectly positioned right on the doorstep. Will certainly head back again.

This was our second visit and we were thoroughly happy with the accommodation and coffee shop.
Dogs were very happy too!! The unit is a stones throw from river and you are provided with your own canoe and boat.

Spent 2 lovely nights relaxing and swimming with the family.
Perfect river setting with beautiful mountain views.
Total privacy and very comfortable accommodation.
Thanks for the care put into the facilities which make for a positive experience.

We booked a last minute getaway, and were fortunate enough to get a booking at River Edge. It was our first time visiting but won't be our last. We stayed in Coetzer house it was extremely spacious, comfortable, clean, peaceful and very well equipped. We brought along our dog too who also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, little extra's for pets (bowl/towel)
We spent most our time cooling off in the river, had breakfast at the farm shop and visited the Gin distillery.
All staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved this beautiful home away from home! The houses are well equipped and quite a distance from each other which makes staying there more pleasurable. It was more than what we had expected and we definitely recommend River Edge Accommodation, especially when pets are a part of your family! We will be back soon!
